So this is very new to me... The most difficult part? To remember to keep coming back.
Ill share with you a recent project, which i love not just because it was my baby...
(like all other crafters i LOVE it when clients let go and you get to experiment all on your own! THATS when you actually get better results)
...but because I think it was one of the sweetest gesture by the person who requested it.
It was a wedding gift from T for a new addition to the family, so the colours had to be wedding-ish, and a "home" element was a must.
So after a lot of indecisiveness on her part ( because she wanted something that would last and be actually useful) we decide upon an altered photo frame.

Almost all the elements that you see are handmade..
I love working with sentiments.. and compose them myself. (More control than stamping ;) although stamping is a beautiful technique too)
And if it were up to me I would "distress" anything that crosses my path! I love it so!
I think it gives definition.
The flowers are handmade... I don't have dies for it... Everything is hand drawn and cut :)
I have used a few fabric leaves though.. Just to change the texture language...
And the beloved music sheet :) my latest love :)

There was a coordinating box too... Which had to be minimal as compared to the main frame... So I repeated the elements minimally... a blank tag is for the client to write on her own :)
