Love is the thread..

Recently I was seeing a lot of sewing machines being included in compositions  and I was talking to my crafter friend (we dissect every project thay comes up in our newsfeed!) about how randomly it was put together... 

A few days later a client asks me to make a frame for her bestest friend.

The design brief was "sewing/dress/black/pink/fashion"

Both she and her bestie are fashion designers :)

So I sat down with my favorite damask in mind and sketched up a composition... With, yes, a sewing machine as one of the elements! Which made sense here...

Here is what I came up with

  

A little bit of faux stitching detail some buttons and handmade thread spool embellishments and a dress form at the back of it all. 

I have long ways  to go till I reach the levels of those who aspire me.. but I rather loved this piece for its elements... No flowers... Which is always a challenge... 

The client requested a chocolate box (that would later serve as a jewelry box) 

Which was quite opposite: full of flowers I mean
